I didn’t know that Eurostar passengers were permitted to take not only pet dogs and cats with them back and forth to France, but pet ferrets as well (a fact gleaned from that Pointless mine of information, Richard Osman). That gave me the inspiration for a story. Supposing someone smuggled a ferret on board and it got loose… The result is my contemporary romantic short story FERRETING ABOUT, just published with two others on the theme Home & Abroad.
